Dr. Patton is the lead psychologist at Sunrise Psychological Assessment Services and specializes in psychological, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults presenting with a wide range of disorders. He also has over 20 years of experience providing school-based evaluations and consultations that inform school and community-based support services (e.g., IEP, 504 plans) for children and adolescents with academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
Education & Accreditations
Dr. Patton is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience in the fields of psychological and neuropsychological assessment, psychotherapy, counseling, and seminar and workshop presentation. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh, two Master’s degrees from James Madison University and the American School of Professional Psychology respectively, an Educational Specialist degree from James Madison University, and his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology.

Community Service
Dr, Patton is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., and Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity. He is also a member of First Mount Zion Baptist Church. He has participated in several community service projects spearheaded by each of these organizations such as annual food drives, voter registration initiatives, and teen mentoring.
Hobbies
Dr. Patton is an avid golfer (a passion passed down from his father) who has competed in several United States Golf Association (USGA) amateur events and loves to traveling and public speaking. His greatest treasures are his wife Marlene, sons Jaylen and Logan, and his princess Mia.
